After three scientists, played by cast members Kyle Mooney, Mikey Day and guest Scarlett Johansson, invent a pet translator, designed to “scan the household pet’s mind to translate his thoughts into words,” Johansson was shocked to learn that her own dog Max is a huge fan of President Donald Trump.
“I like to play ball. I like purple bird in the window,” Max, a cute pug told the scientists and two possible investors for the device gathered fort the demonstration.
Judge says NO to emergency halt of new Trump travel ban; Kellyanne explains why:
“I like park and leash, and I like Trump. He’s my man,” Max continued.
Everyone was shocked at his last statement, and Johansson suggested there must be a “translation error” in the device — a suggestion that Max vehemently denied.
“There’s no glitch. Donald Trump is our president. He carried the Electoral College fair and square,” Max corrected.
“I know Trump has issues, but one big change is better than business as usual.”
When he was told he shouldn’t admire Trump, Max offered additional reasons why he should.
“The Dow is up 2700 points since he was elected. What’s not to like?” he asked.
“Your dog is a monster,” an investor, who was clearly a Clinton supporter, said.
Then Johansson tried to reason with Max. “You’re just a dog,” she said. “You don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Excuse me, Helen, but yes I do,” Max replied. “It’s that condensing attitude that made me want to vote for Trump in the first place!”

“What about his record on women’s rights?” Johansson asked Max while arguing policy. “Don’t you want me to have a choice over my own body?”
“You didn’t afford me a choice when you cut off my balls!” Max fired back.
An investor brought an end to the pair’s policy argument. “All right, stand back. I’m gonna shoot him with the gun I carry,” she said, rising from her seat.
She was obviously a liberal — she kept her forefinger on the trigger — a basic no-no.
At the end, Johansson places a vagina hat on Max in preparation for a walk outside. Oh, the humiliation.
For once, “Saturday Night Live” seemed to take a huge swipe at liberals — and it was hilarious.
