Time has a funny way of obscuring history, and perhaps that’s the reason why we constantly find ourselves making the same mistakes over and over again. And the reason why we should bring back American and world history as a required subject beginning in grade school.
In that we’ve become a nation of misinformed individuals, using social media rather than taking the trouble of opening a history book. Moreover, the mainstream media along with academia are equally at fault my purposely pushing a political agenda rather than factually presenting a fair and balanced overview of current events.
Time and again we witness college students attending some of the most esteemed universities in the country unable to answer the most basic questions regarding America’s history and the basic principle of governance within our society.
Even within recent contemporary history, we fall short, at what the media claims to be “unprecedented” which in fact is a clever slight-of-hand, regarding the firing of FBI Director James Comey by President Trump. Although unusual, this has happened before. Back in 1993, President Bill Clinton fired than FBI Director William S. Sessions, who was nominated by President Reagan in 1987.
President Clinton had asked his Attorney General, Janet Reno, to review Sessions qualifications and although Sessions had served 6-years as FBI Director Reno had concluded: “in no uncertain terms that he can no longer effectively lead the bureau.”
Coincidentally Sessions untimely removal happened the day before Vince Foster the Deputy White House Counsel to the President and perhaps, more importantly, the personal attorney to both Bill and Hillary Clinton, was found dead, from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
However, on the night of Foster’s death it was reported that top Clinton aides attempted to enter and remove documents from his West Wing office, moreover days after the alleged suicide the FBI had trouble with the investigation and gaining unfettered access to Foster’s office, it was alleged that documents were removed and never found.
Moreover perhaps the most incriminating evidence that something else happened to Foster might explain why the FBI never “officially investigated the case” but simply signed off on the investigation by the Park Police, even though Foster was a high-ranking official in the Clinton White House.
SHARE on Facebook if you think the mainstream media is purposefully refusing to mention historical precedence of previous President’s dismissals of FBI Directors in an attempt to trash Trump and further their liberal narrative.
